Time marches on. And the audio medium that you enjoyed yesterday becomes tomorrow's playback nightmare. Whether it's cassette, reel to reel tape, or vinyl/acetate records, they're degrading with time, and the playback equipment is disappearing. We can preserve your valuable recordings by transferring them to pristine digital formats. Some of our recent work has included transferring out of print vinyl to CD's for continued enjoyment, transfer of irreplaceable reel and cassette recordings of loved ones, and archiving of evidence for law enforcement and attorney's clients.

We also transfer large multi-track format information. We can batch transfer between .wav files, ADAT, DTRS (DA88) and Analog including 1" 8-track, 2" 16-track and 2" 24 track tape. We also convert between SDII and .wav files and can optimize any audio for mp3 and web use.
Restoration
Many of the recordings brought to us for transfer can be electronically enhanced to improve the quality or intelligibility or both. Tape hiss can be greatly reduced, as can surface noise from vinyl and other records. Frequency response can be enhanced. These same audio tools can help to extract evidence from hard to understand micro-cassettes and police recordings for those in the legal fields, law enforcement, and private individuals.
