Drake Calls Up Radio Host Who Criticized ‘God’s Plan’ Music Video

Drake wasn’t happy when a dominant radio host redeemed his brand new music video for the tune “God’s Plan”.

The video  includes the Canadian rapper giving away nearly $1 million of their own money to individuals in need.

Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg was not too impressed with Drake’s actions of kindness, though.

The host challenged the method by which in which the rapper went on doing charity. “Is it a little bit cheap to use those emotions of, ‘Look in this individual in need getting something great,’ and transfer those emotions on your own?” He requested. “I really don’t know the last time I saw that a four-minute montage of ‘Look at all of the fine things I do.'”

Apparently Drake heard that criticism and did not take it gently. Rosenberg stated the 31-year-old angrily called him up on the phone Wednesday.

“I’ve never heard that his Canadian accent that ardently. Drake cried and he was very passionate,” Rosenberg explained.

“I could hear in his voice that this was very clearly the most crucial thing he’s ever done,” Rosenberg added. “He was clearly very affected by doing something really great for individuals. That’s ultimately very ideal for the civilization. However, I would have said the video is not for me.”

Clearly not everybody agrees with Rosenberg. The video for “God’s Plan” has awakened over 54 million viewpoints since its release a week, along with the tune was No. 1 to the Billboard Hot 100 for fourteen days.
